You will need a provisional licence to start driving lessons. Once this is obtained we can start your driving lessons. You do not need any previous experience or to pass any tests to start driving lessons. You will need to bring a copy of your driving licence information with you for your first driving lesson. There is a link under the LINKS tab at the top of the page which will guide you on how to do this. The evidence can be printed or electronic. Driving lessons are available in Inverness and the immediate surrounding area.
I meet my students in Inverness and will typically pick them up wherever it is convenient for them. Driving lessons are typically a minimum of 2 hours in length once a week and I will take you through a driving lesson curriculum which will be focused on you and your needs. This will give you the skills you need to pass your test!
Other than the car which is the best available for students in Inverness, we have invested highly in driving lesson teaching materials which includes the full range of DITA (Driving Instructor Teaching Aids) providing up-to-date information on driving standards as well as visual references so you can see exactly what it is you need to do during your driving lessons and back up those visuals with the theory behind each step of the way.
When will you be ready for you test? Its a common question for a driving instructor. The DVSA would recommend 40 hours of driving lessons with a driving instructor plus 22 hours private practice. However, with a personalized driving lesson plan, you will be able to take control of your own driving lesson progress and take your exam when you are ready, knowing that you have all the skills you need to pass your driving test.
Whether you want to do your driving lessons over a few months or a few weeks is left up to you but we can obviously give you advise about your options for driving lessons. We will try our best to suit your timetable and needs so you can pass as soon as you want to pass.
